Born in San Diego California, Myren is the eldest of 2 boys. In his teenage years, he was able to take his first international trip to Germany to visit family. It was amazing and he was hooked on travel. After successfully navigating the pitfalls of living in California in the 90s, He graduated from high school. Myren knew he was not going to attend college, so he enlisted in the United States Navy. Upon completing boot camp and ‘A’ school he was off to his first duty station, Yokosuka Japan. Over the next 13 years, he traveled to over 30 countries. He then went on to serve 4 years in the United States Army. His first duty station in the Army was Fort Carson Colorado where he met Lisa. His need to see the world has not been satisfied. There is too much to see and learn. It is great that Lisa shares the same passion.

Born in a small town in SC, Lisa grew up spending most of her free time outdoors. She has always loved being active. She swam like a fish and followed her Papa around doing maintenance on our car, making slingshots, holding target practice in the woods near their home, and a whole host of other adventurous stuff. Today, most of those things would be deemed unsafe for children, but she turned out just fine. At age 17, Lisa graduated from HS and headed to college. Big mistake. Within 2 weeks, she knew it wasn’t where she wanted to be. Fast forward 6 months and she’s the newest recruit in the United States Air Force! After 24 years of traveling the world and serving a greater good, then retiring in 2015, that hunger for travel remained. Fortunately for Lisa, her life partner has the same hunger.
